Do I plan to keep the blog after this course?

Yes, I am going to keep my blog I think it is fun. I like blogging. Even though I have not written on it a lot I have read a lot of the blogs. I have found some to be helpful and some are informational. I think I have found a new way to interact with old friends and new friends. I am more than happy to become a blogger buddy of anyone who would like to keep in touch after this class is over. I think we all can extend a hand and make lasting friendships for a lifetime using tools like blogspot, facebook and etc. I learning how to be more computer savvy everyday that I spend on the computer. No only that I am learning to type faster without looking for the keys!!

Unit 7

I there anything I found intriguing or shocking in the process of your reasearch?
I wrote about tubal ligation, and there were many things that were shocking to know. I learn that there are six diferent types of sterilizations, I learned that tubals are offered most when a women is having an unplanned cesaren (remember that ladies), I learned that you can get pregnant for up 10 years after a proceedure and some pregnancies are successful and some are ectopic and have to be aborted. So, I learned quite a bite of information. I believe the information to be very intriguing as I did not realize what I had gotten myself into when I had my tubal. I had no advice about the proceedure and I myself did not know what to espect. I think now, when a person who has not had a tubal will find the information to be very useful in there future decfision to have a tubal.

The last six weeks

Hi Everyone,
The last six weeks have been good for me. I have be maintaing my grades and I am proud of myself for doing so. Msy husband and I are celebrating our fifth year anniversary on February 18, 2010. We have been together many many years though. I am getting my son prepared to graduate and go off to college in the fall. I am so proud of him. I am so glad that I chose to come to Kaplan I am really having a very good experience and I never expected that I would have this great of an experience. I also have a daughter at home with me in the day and I will be sending her to daycare in the fall so, I will be crying twice I guess. My husband and I are currently paying for our first cruise ever (yeah!!!)!! We will be shipping off in July for 5 days, I am so excited. This will be the honeymoon we never had and I will get a chance to see a place other than Georgia.

Academic Challenges

Hi Everyone,

If there was one thing about your academic challenges , what would it be?

I think for me my challenge is to stay motivated to finish what I have started. This is my very first time attendinding a university, and to have started this in an online seetting is a huge step for me. I am a person that is not very outspoken but, more on the quiet side unless I am pushed into talking. I chose online classes because I feel that it pushes me to put myself out on-the-limb to open myself up to make friends and talk more. Since I have started classes here at Kaplan I have been more than happy with my experiences. My sister and I started atending Kaplan at the same time and we do use each other for support, It seems that we are a great team . I give her motivation and pep talks if she is on a low and she does the same for me. I like that fact that Kaplan does have a lot of support for if you do have a problem you can always talk to your academic advisor and you professors. I think that I am really giving my children endless possibilities for their own life, and letting them know that no matter how old you are the sky is the limit; you just have to reach for it and you can accomplish anything. I feel I do have the drive to go forward and suceed. I am looking forward to walking down the aisle when my name is called to recieve my degree with a big smile on my face and all of my family and friends cheering me on!!!
